The flow of the second-order fluid flow through the channel with permeable walls is discussed. A uniform magnetic field is imposed orthogonally on the axis. In modern time, many numerical techniques are used to solve the linear and nonlinear problems of mathematics and engineering. The obtained nonlinear partial differential equations are transformed into a nonlinear system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) with the help of similarity transformation. In the article, the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is applied to get the solution to the system of nonlinear ODEs. The second-order fluid behaves electrically conducting in the occurrence of the uniform magnetic field. The results obtained from this technique are discussed for the various parameters and are presented graphically. Also, the results show that the HPM can achieve virtuous output in expecting the result of such models.
