Abstract

One of the biggest industries in India is Construction. But there have been delays with the majority of the construction projects. Project delays in the construction industry are frequently brought on by lower than anticipated labour productivity. Although determining labour productivity is simple and easy, doing so is sometimes more difficult. The main purpose of the study is to identify the key variables that affect labour productivity. The findings should help project managers in the construction industry to increase labour productivity at their locations. To learn more about how construction workers perceive the factors that affect their productivity at work, a study was performed with them. Also, to make effective and Systematic strategies to increase labour efficiency at the site have also been determined by surveying management engineers who work directly with construction labour to produce construction works. These findings ought to help project management teams get the most work possible out of their construction labour forces. They can employ the preventative methods suggested in this study to maintain productivity at its peak and to spot the early warning signals. The main learning from this study will help in getting the correct directions for the better management of CLP in different geographical regions.
