Abstract

This paper enumerates the heat transfer augmentation in a channel flow using a Delta winglet with help of response surface methodology. In this paper, the experiments are performed on the wind tunnel test rig for calculating the effects of the rectangular fin plate with using the winglets. The two parameters as input, air velocity and heat power are used for optimizing the output value. Here the PEC is taken as an output for finding the maximum Thermo hydraulic efficiency. First, set the input parameters and then perform the experimental value on the obtained parameters and find the optimal results and that obtained output parameters are performed again on the experimental setup and find the experimental PEC and compare the result and find the error percentage, which is 2.65.
